When we reviewed the talk submissions we received for WordCamp Edinburgh 2017, there were several proposals that really stood out. They reached across disciplines, posed difficult but necessary questions, and above all, reminded us of the power of democratising publishing.<\/p>\n
We decided to set these talks as keynotes which span both tracks, which therefore will include all conference attendees. We hope they will continue to challenge and inspire you after the conference is over.<\/p>\n
