WordCamp Edinburgh 2018 will take place in the conference space at CodeBase<\/a>, 38 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH3 9SJ. CodeBase is the UK’s largest digital startup incubator and a place of unique energy and potential. We hope some of it will rub off on you at WordCamp Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

\nCodeBase is directly at the foot of Edinburgh Castle and boasts an astonishing view.<\/p>\n

CodeBase is approximately 15 minutes walk from both Edinburgh Waverley and Edinburgh Haymarket stations. (The more adventurous should try walking from Haymarket to the venue along the side paths that lead from Princes Street Gardens up Edinburgh Castle.)<\/p>\n

While Old Town Edinburgh is admittedly a medieval city of steep hills and cobblestones, CodeBase and its conference space are located at street level and flat pavements for easy access.<\/p>\n

Castle Terrace is less than a five minute walk from Princes Street and all the buses and trams which serve it. You can plan your public transport at Traveline Scotland<\/a>. Parking is available across the street at an NCP car park.<\/p>\n
