The schedule is here!

We are delighted to announce our schedule, sessions, and speakers for WordCamp Edinburgh 2018.

We have two tracks over two days: community, where speakers will discuss content, UX, accessibility, business, and digital inclusion; and development, where speakers will discuss coding, security, privacy, CLI, and Gutenberg.

Our first day, Saturday, is packed with talks. Our second day, Sunday, has a series of hands-on workshops, laid-back panel discussions, and practical support.

You’ll see some familiar faces in there, and some new ones too, including quite a few first-time WordCamp speakers.

We can’t wait to welcome you! Tickets are now available.

Call for Volunteers

Volunteers are a crucial part of the team for any WordCamp across the globe. Not only are they there to help the attendees, but they are also there to help the organising team to run the event as smoothly and magically possible.

It doesn’t matter what experience you have (though there are special exceptions if you know how to handle a unicorn), if you would like to put your name down to volunteer at WordCamp Edinburgh 2018, feel free to fill in the form below and we’ll get back to you.

And as a thank you for helping us, we will give you one free ticket (limited number of volunteers are available) to attend the event.

Welcome to WordCamp Edinburgh 2018

That’s right…we are back!

WordCamp Edinburgh 2018 is back once again and it will take place on 17th-18th November at CodeBase, the UK’s largest startup incubator, located at the foot of Edinburgh Castle.

If you have attended last year’s event, you’ll know that it’s a fantastic location with a great view of the castle. Find out more about our location here.

We will be opening calls for sponsors, speakers and volunteers very soon. But for now, we are in the middle of creating a new design for our website.

But don’t worry, the beloved and much-loved Wappunicorn will remain the same and will be joining us too.
